For years, Brian Puspos has been putting in work as a singer, dance and choreographer, but the Houston-bred star is ensuring he will own 2017. Less than two weeks into the new year, Puspos is dropping his debut EP Slow Love and Bangin' coupled with the must-watch new video for "Starting Line" that you can watch on Fuse first.
Check out the visual above that spotlights the silky smooth choreography that the America's Best Dance Crew alum has become famous for after working with the likes of Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, EXO and SHINee. As the opening track on Slow Love and Bangin', "Starting Line" stars the mood off right for the R&B-pop release with a satisfying blend of nostalgic beats mixed with modern-day production with the dance-heavy visual only enhancing the overall experience.
Brian shared with Fuse more about the overall vibe of "Starting Line" and its accompanying video:
"There is definitely a thematic tone of late '90s/early 2000s, R&B-pop vibes mixed with today's modern sound throughout the entire EP. We definitely wanted to take it back to that era aesthetically with this music video since it was those type of videos that I was raised on. A simple approach and a light narrative filled with dancing. It kind of hits two birds with one stone since the song tells a story and I also get to tell a story with movement through my choreography."
Slow Love and Bangin' is available now featuring "Starting Line" plus with collaborations with Anderson .Paak and production team The Stereotypes (Bruno Mars, Bieber, EXO). Get to know Brian even better by checking out his latest video with rapper Goldlink in their "Spectrum" collaboration below:
