Jamiroquai are back! The British funk/acid jazz band, who gave us the 1996 "Virtual Insanity" jam, revealed their comeback album Automaton will arrive this year. They shared the 22-second "Automaton Transmission 001" clip with fans that teases funkadelic new music.

Automaton is Jamiroquai's eighth album and marks the follow-up to 2010 Rock Dust Star Light. While a release date hasn't been announced yet, the outfit did share a string of headlining festival tour dates. They include Tokyo International Forum, Seoul Jazz Festival and Release Athens Festival, but unfortunately no North American dates.
