K-pop's global takeover continues with the world's largest Korean-culture festival officially expanding to Mexico. Its first artist reveal already has us wanting to book our flight.
Monsta X will headline the first-ever KCON Mexico, marking the six-year-old festival's first date in the country. The "All In" boy band is first artist to perform and meet fans at the upcoming fest that will take place from March 17-18 at the Mexico City Arena, located in the Azcapotzalco neighborhood.
The expansion to Mexico is the first look KCON has given to the Latin-America region with the convention-festival recently expanding to Paris and Abu Dhabi in 2016, after holding dates in Los Angeles, New York, Japan and South Korea. The dates and venues for LA and NY will be announced in the coming weeks, according to KCON.
