Adele's "Hello" is one of the biggest songs in music industry history, so it only makes sense that the superstar diva would open the 2017 GRAMMYs singing her mega-hit with a simple-yet-stunning live performance.

Unsurprisingly, Adele nailed every note of the heartbreak hit, belting through each note with precise vocal gymnastics as just a spotlight shone on her. The British songbird looked almost relieved when the song did finish, with the house lights turning on to reveal a standing ovation. Not a bad way to start what's sure to be a massive night.

As of her performance, Adele had already won two awards including Best Pop Vocal Album for 25  and Best Pop Solo Performance for "Hello." See the full list of winners here.
