GRAMMYs 2017 Prince Tribute: Watch Bruno Mars & The Time Give a Funky Farewell to the Purple One

Paying tribute to Prince was not going to be an easy task at any award show, but the 2017 GRAMMYs pulled off what is arguably the best and most appropriate homage to The Purple One.

The Time opened the tribute with the Minneapolis band and Prince cohorts starting with their 1984 single "Jungle Love," featured on Purple Rain soundtrack spin-off album Ice Cream Castle that became their biggest chart hit. The crowd was already on their feet by the time Bruno Mars came out in full Prince gear, complete with a purple jacket and eyeliner, to play guitar and nail a performance of "Let's Go Crazy."
