If Jake Gyllenhaal ever decides to retire from acting, then music can be his next calling! The star shared a Facebook video of him performing “Finishing the Hat” in rehearsals for the Sunday in the Park With George Broadway musical. The actor's singing chops are pretty impressive, as he wallows in emotions while walking backstage and around the stage.

"This is what happens when Riva Marker (the badass president of NineStories) and I invite #CaryJojiFukunaga to rehearsals for our new Broadway musical. Check out this video we made!" Gyllenhaal captioned the video. He will be the lead star of Sunday in the Park With George, which will play in New York City's newly renovated Hudson Theatre. Previews begin on Feb. 11 and its opening night is Feb. 23.

The rehearsal video follows Gyllenhaal singing Aladdin's "A Whole New World" alongside Sean Hayes and host James Corden at the 2016 Tony Awards. But this isn't the actor's first venture into the Broadway world. He played Seymour in the 2015 production of Little Shop of Horrors, and also performed in Constellations, If There Is I Haven't Found It Yet and This is Our Youth.

As for Hollywood? He will star in the upcoming sci-fi horror film LifeCheck out the trailer here. For more pop culture and nostalgia news, listen to the latest episode of Fuse's Besterday podcast:
