Marooon 5 are systematically working through collaborations with every one of our biggest rappers. In 2015, it was Nicki Minaj on the "Sugar" remix. 2016, Kendrick Lamar on "Don't Wanna Know." Today, a Future feature on "Cold." (Also recall that Adam Levine's first year doing solo features, he helped Kanye West open Late Registration.)

"Cold" is all about wondering why bae has gotten so icy, and not understanding why, and repeating that misunderstanding a bunch. A sparklingly melodic Future jumps in at 2:28 and lets us know he spent $500,000 on a chandelier; it would be cool if he bought it from the new Beauty and the Beast set.

Listen to Maroon 5 and Future's "Cold" below:

It should definitely be said that the "Cold" cover art is weird as hell, with a magazine tear-out snippet of Levine's face stacked above one of Future stacked above one of a woman in lingerie. Okay!

Future also commemorated Valentine's Day by announcing that a surprise new solo album, Future, is coming on Friday. After an incredibly prolific streak of mixtapes and albums, Future has now gone a year since his last album, EVOL. (Although was a big part of the Project E.T. mixtape in June 2016.)

And Future announced a gigantic tour with MigosDrake nemesis Tory Lanez (!!), Kodak Black and, on alternating dates, Young Thug and A$AP Ferg. The tour launches on May 4 and wraps on June 30. Check out the cover art and a tease below, and tour dates here.
