Twenty One Pilots' win for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 2017 GRAMMY Awards made their fans scream for more than one reason.

When the duo were announced as winners for the category—beating out the likes of RihannaDrake and Sia—they went into the arena walkway and proceeded to take off their pants, accepting their gold gramophone without pants. The duo's Tyler Joseph told an adorable story how when the duo had just started their band in Columbus, Oh., they were watching the GRAMMYs with friends and noticed everyone was watching the television in their underwear. He said he told his band mate Josh Dun, "If we ever win a GRAMMY, we should receive it just like this." Thus, the pants-less win.

He ended acceptance with a moment of inspiration, adding, "So, not only is this amazing, I want everyone at home to know they could be next. Anyone from anywhere can do anything; and this is that."
