On her five-award-winning GRAMMY night, Adele raised eyebrows by thanking her husband. You know, the one nobody knew she had. Over the weekend in Australia, the English singer confirmed to a 60,000-person Brisbane crowd that she is indeed wed to Simon Konecki, her partner since 2011 and the father of her 4-year-old son Angelo James.

Before playing the breakup smash "Someone Like You," Adele told the Gabba stadium (per Sky News):

"I was trying to remember how it was I felt at the beginning of the relationship that inspired that record. Because as bad as a break-up can be and as bitter and horrible and messy as it can be, that feeling when you first fall for someone is the best feeling on earth, and I am addicted to that feeling. Obviously, I can't go through with those feelings because I'm married now. I've found my next person but you know that feeling when everything about you feels alive for the first time."

Accepting her Album of the Year GRAMMY on Feb. 12, Adele said, “GRAMMYS, I appreciate it, the Academy, I love you, my manager, my husband and my son—you’re the only reason I do it."

Konecki, 42 to Adele's 28, is the co-founder of Lifewater and the charity Drop4drop.
