Parents-to-be Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski got secretly married on Sunday, marking the third (as far as we know) surprise marriage story of the week. (Previously: Broad City's Ilana Glazer, and RuPaul, to his partner of 23 years.)
The 31-year-old actress and 40-year-old actor eloped "with an officiant and just the two of us," Sadoski told James Corden on Thursday's Late Late Show. “It was beautiful. It was everything that it should be. It was just the two of us talking to each other.”
The couple started dating early last year; Seyfried's pregnancy was revealed in November. The baby will be the first for each of them. “I’m more excited about this than I’ve ever been about anything in my life," Sadoski told Corden. "And I’m also more terrified about it than anything I’ve ever been in my entire [life].”
Seyfried's big credits include Mean Girls, Big Love, Les Misérables and Lovelace. She'll also be in the upcoming Twin Peaks revival. Her man has been seen in John Wick and its sequel, The Newsroom and Life in Pieces. Funnily enough, they both spent time on As the World Turns, although they didn't overlap.
Seyfried and Sadoski did a theatrical production called The Way We Get By in 2015; last year they filmed The Last Word, which came out in limited release earlier this month.
