Billy Eichner is the first new cast member to join American Horror Story Season 7, Variety reports. In typical AHS fashion, there aren't details of what exactly the comedian's character will be. But he is set to have a recurring guest role on the FX anthology series' new season.

According to Deadline's sources, Eichner is playing "a close confidant of [Sarah] Paulson’s character and mostly will be wearing mysterious tank tops." Hmm, we wonder what that means? He will reportedly appear in in six or seven of the 11 episodes, which begin filming in May. The actor joins veteran cast members Paulson and Evan Peters, the only other actors confirmed for the season.

Along with AHS, Eichner stars in Hulu's comedy series Difficult People and Netflix's upcoming Friends from College show. Over the weekend, Paulson teased that her Cordelia Foxx character from Coven may return on the show. AHS co-creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk have remained pretty tight-lipped about the new season, but we do know the plot will revolve around last year's presidential election.
