'Captain Underpants' Trailer: Watch the Epic Book Come to Life

Remember those awesome Captain Underpants books you used to freak out over with your friends in elementary and middle school? Well thanks to DreamWorks Animation, the classic children's novel series is turning into a movie! Watch the debut Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie trailer above.

The first glimpse of the animated film brings the series to life, as best buddies George Beard and Harold Hutchins (voiced by (Kevin Hart and Thomas Middleditch) hypnotize their mean principal Benny Krupp (Ed Helms) into Captain Underpants. The superhero (yes, he's a superhero) and the elementary kids then embark on a wild adventure to save the world from a wicked scientist.
