Update (3/23): The long-awaited new Gorillaz album is titled Humanz and will arrive April 28. Their Instagram spelled out the title one pic at a time, creating a six-post spread with the featured acts' faces artfully collaged into the letters. (Followed by what you see above.) Several songs (potentially four) will premiere today at 3:30pm EST on BBC Radio 1.

So while the recently leaked list of songs (scroll down) has not been entirely confirmed or clarified, the collaborators have. As previously reported, Gorillaz' Humanz will have Carly Simon, D.R.A.M., Popcaan, Grace Jones, De La Soul, Anthony Hamilton, Danny Brown, Pusha T, Mavis Staples, Kali Uchis, Kelela, Savages' Jehnny Beth, Vince Staples, Kilo Kish, Zebra Katz and, on the previously heard single "Hallelujah Money," Benjamin Clementine.

Four of the new Gorillaz songs were briefly listed on Tidal today, all in line with the rumored tracklist. They're “Ascension” featuring Vince Staples, “We Got the Power” feat. Jehnny Beth, “Saturnz Barnz” feat. Popcaan and “Andromeda” feat. D.R.A.M.

Original story (3/20): After six years away, Gorillaz are expected to be back with an album...soon, maybe. And coming off the heels of January's potent, political "Hallelujah Money" is an alleged tracklist. Highsnobiety, on the heels of an initial report by Has It Leaked, notes that "most of these titles have proven to be registered with British music licensing company Phonographic Performance Ltd."

Redditors also noticed leaks of at least five songs, and Gorillaz have been sharing snippets of new music on Snapchat. On Sunday night, Damon Albarn's cartoon hip-hop act posted a cryptic, enthusiastic Instagram that neither confirmed nor denied the news, but it did feature the consecutive hashtags #phase4, #whatcriminalleakedthat, #thanks, #badleaker and #butthanks, plus #popcaan, who's one of the supposed artists on the record, which could be called Phase 4.

The list, sadly ordered alphabetically, runs at 26 songs including six interludes and an intro. Save for one track, all the non-interlude/intro cuts boast feature artists as far-flung as Carly Simon, D.R.A.M., Popcaan, Grace Jones, De La SoulAnthony Hamilton, Danny Brown, and Pusha T and Mavis Staples on the same song.
