Good news, Insecure fans! We don't have to wait much longer for the Season 2 premiere of the HBO series, because it will arrive this summer. Issa Rae, the show's co-creator, announced Insecure is set to premiere on July 23.

Rae opened the clip by joking about how fine Jay Ellis' Lawrence character is (shout out to the #LawrenceHive). She then revealed, "Mark your calendars for July 23rd because it's about to get hot this summer....Tell your friends, tell your family, tell your enemies to watch Insecure on HBO. We're coming back happier, stronger, better, doper than ever."

HBO announced it renewed Insecure for another season (along with Westworld and Sarah Jessica Parker's Divorce) last November. The show first premiered on Oct. 9, 2016 and stars Rae, Ellis, Yvonne Orji as Molly Carter, Lisa Joyce as Frieda and Natasha Rothwell as Kelli. It was included in dozens of pop culture lists, including Fuse's own best new TV shows of 2016 and the most anticipated series of 2017.
