UPDATE (2:15PM)Lorde has now announced the video release date for her anticipated "Green Light" single. "I am so overjoyed to finally announce that my first single, GREEN LIGHT, is coming out tomorrow at 8am nz / 2pm nyc," she tweeted. The singer previously teased the date during her recent public event in Auckland, New Zealand. The video will be directed by Grant Singer.

ORIGINAL STORY (12:15PM): Lorde's return to music is coming any day now, and the singer continues to tease her upcoming "Green Light" single with fans. Last night, she announced a public event in Auckland, New Zealand of "a few more little glimpses at what's coming" paired with a map on on Twitter.

The three location points showed a lime-green projection on the side of the city's Town Hall building, a glowing sign that read “She thinks you love the beach / You’re such a damn liar" (which may be a song lyric) and flying drones. NME reports there was also short video that showed two dates—"3.2.17 NYC" and "3.3.17 NZ"—while a clip of the pounding song played. Hmm, could those be the release dates?

The public event follows the 20-year-old star dropping a surprise teaser on New Zealand television and her imwaitingforit.com website. Check out some fan-shot moments from the thrilling evening below:

"Green Light" will be the first taste of new music following the 2013 release of Lorde's debut album Pure Heroine. She is set to perform on Saturday Night Live on March 11, so keep your eyes out for even more fresh tunes.
