Rihanna has never been shy about her love of smokin' somethin', but it was Coachella 2012 when we accepted a new life goal: getting lifted with Bad Gal Ri. During the festival, Rih famously rolled a blunt (seen in the above post from her own Instagram) while perched upon her bodyguard's shoulders. Iconic.
To top it off, when MTV dared question the impact of the "controversial" photos, Rihanna's clap back solidified her as the reigning queen of idgaf:
If you've watched even one episode of Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party on VH1, inviting these two over for 4/20 is a no-brainer. While we'd admittedly give our left arms to hang with either of these legends, Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg's chemistry and friendship are goals.
But don't get it twisted. In February Snoop made it clear Martha's never smoked with him, and Martha herself has never really talked about smoking weed. However, in a 2013 interview with Andy Cohen for 92nd Street Y, Martha proudly says "of course I know how to roll a joint!" Ok, so Martha can roll us and Snoop the perfect joints, then cook and bake us the perfect snacks for when we get the munchies. I... don't think we need to explain why Snoop is invited.
Speaking of Snoop, watch a special 4/20 collection of Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg's smokiest moments with Fuse over the years:
Comedians, writers and actors Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer don't just love smoking weed as characters on their hit Comedy Central series Broad City, they love it in real life, too! If these two are as hilarious in real life as they are on the show (they are), we need their numbers or gmails to invite them over for 4/20, ASAP.
Below, the girls reveal on Jimmy Kimmel Live where they get their pot in real life and whether or not the weed on Broad City is real:
You probably know Crissle West from her hit podcast The Read with Kid Fury, her appearances on Comedy Central's Drunk History, her hosting gig on Apple Music's Beats 1 radio, or just her unapologetic tweets. Whichever platform she's on, we love Crissle because she does and says whatever the hell she wants.
If you follow Crissle on Twitter you know these things to be true: she LOVES Beyoncé, she's outspoken about everything from race and gender to sexuality and politics, and last (but definitely not least), she enjoys her weed. Whether smoking or making her own tinctures and cannabis-infused cocktails, Crissle is not shy about indulging in the green. We just hope we're lucky enough to someday spark somethin' with the talented Ms. West.
every day i try to not smoke weed but every day people are dumb as fuck.— king crissle (@crissles) January 4, 2017
JoJo is no stranger to the therapeutic benefits of marijuana. The singer may not smoke weed these days, telling Fader "It was harsh on my throat and was drying it out," but she's definitely an advocate for getting lifted, whatever way works best for you. She's currently a fan of edibles and tinctures, even including a song titled "Edibles." on her 2016 Mad Love album (listen above).
For us longtime JoJo fans, it was her (amazing) 2012 Agápē mixtape that let us know our girl had discovered the joys of strolling through the haze. On "We Get By" the line "I get high, I get high" repeats in the hook, and she talks about "chilling in our personal fish bowl" on "André." We'd share a fish bowl with you any day, Jo.
JoJo is definitely invited to chill on 4/20, and she's on edibles duty. Hey Jo, bring some of these giant green gummy bears, ok? Below, watch JoJo tell Fuse three facts about herself fans may not know, and one fact they definitely SHOULD know:
If you don't know who Christine Sydelko and Elijah Daniel are you may have been living in a cave with no internet for the past year. Christine rose to fame from her LOL-worthy Vine posts (RIP), while her partner in crime Elijah did it through hilarious tweets that have (proudly) got him blocked by Kim Kardashian, Donald Trump and more.
The internet personalities aren't exactly what you'd picture when you think of famous YouTubers, but their Elijah & Christine channel is incredible, and a hit. From making weed brownies in an Easy-Bake Oven (above) to their obsession with Taco Bell and making trips to Walgreens dressed as aliens, it's safe to say this duo would be a blast to get blasted with.
Kehlani may be abstaining from weed currently (before recently deactivating her Twitter she tweeted about her sobriety), but she's still a self-described "advocate for smoking weed." Earlier this year in an interview with radio DJ Gskee, Kehlani focused on the health benefits of weed and talked about staying healthy in all aspects of life.
Even if she's not participating, Kehlani would be great motivation for staying active (and hydrated) while getting our smoke on. Plus, as evidenced in the piece with Galore above, she clearly knows how to roll the perfect blunt. Yeah, she's invited for 4/20.
Below, watch Kehlani tell us about her SweetSexySavage album and not "out-weirding" herself:
Although Donald Glover's public persona hasn't featured too much smokiness lately (aside from the sound of his Awaken, My Love! album), he was an early PAX vaporizer advocate and the type of guy to say in interviews, "I fuckin' smoke like a chimney, like I smoke weed all the time, do edibles all the time, I'm always high," as he told Vibe in 2013 (above).
His short film Clapping for the Wrong Reasons featured plenty of casual wake-and-baking, and there's smoking all throughout Glover's hit FX series Atlanta. As recently as November, a Billboard profile contained the line "Glover raises a lighter to a bowl loaded with stinky weed." It's safe to say Glover is #TeamGreen and he's definitely invited to hang on 4/20. – Zach Dionne, News Editor
