Coachella Robber Reportedly Steals Over 100 Cell Phones

Coachella was visited by a reverse Santa Claus during its opening weekend, where one man allegedly stole more than 100 cell phones off attendees. Indio police arrested Reinaldo De Jesus Henao at the Empire Polo Club, where he was reportedly found with a backpack full of phones and accused of grand theft and possession of stolen property.

Henao was located through find-my-phone apps, after which, the Desert Sun reports, folks "followed him through the venue, and he was later detained by security until police arrived." This happened shortly after midnight on Saturday, meaning the man is accused of stealing all those phones before night one of the three-day festival was even over.
