It feels like SZA's upcoming CRTL album is being held hostage, but we finally have a saving grace in the form of a new video. The singer released a violent clip (directed by Nabil) for "Love Galore," her collaboration with Travis Scott.
"Done with these n-ggas, I don't love these n-ggas, I dust off these n-ggas / Do it for fun / Don't take it personal," SZA sings in a savage tone as she struts around in a naughty and glittery all-black outfit while tying up Scott on a lavish bed. The video appears to be a play on BDSM, but towards the end it quickly becomes extreme once a cackling white woman storms in the house to literally butcher him up. In other words, don't mess up a relationship with SZA.
"Love Galore" is the latest taste from CRTL, the follow-up to 2014's Z and the singer's official debut album. Billboard claimed it was meant to arrive on February 3, but there still aren't signs of its release date. But SZA did share her "Draw Barrymore" song back in January to hold us over. She will also be performing at Brooklyn's Afropunk festival that takes place from August 26-27.
As we continue to wait for CTRL, watch us catch up with with SZA's TDE labelmate Kendrick Lamar at his Reebok sneaker release:
