Just about 35 years after the original Blade Runner hit theaters, we're finally getting the first official look at its sequel...and it appears to be totally worth the wait.

Check out the trailer above for Blade Runner 2049 that continues the story of the Harrison Ford–starring film 30 years later. Watch above as Ryan Gossling joins Ford's beloved Deckard character on screen for an eerie glimpse into the future of Los Angeles. Don't miss a truly creepy cameo from Jared Leto playing his mysterious character we know is named Wallace.

The trailer also shows glimpses of other cast members including Mackenzie Davis, Robin Wright, and Dave Bautista who are all on board for the film being directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Denis Villeneuve. Blade Runner 2049 hits theaters October 6, 2017.
