Frankenstein Saves Hip Hop
Black Skeptik's newest music video, "Frankenstein Saves Hip Hop" is poised to be the rap game's first true-school Halloween release. With nods to Mel Brooks' "Young Frankenstein," the video illustrates Dr. Black Skepenstein's attempt to create a rap monster using body parts from various hip hop cultural icons and hooking him up to an old school boombox for life support ("the soul of James Brown/the body fluid of J Dilla/ bitches brew it with the styles of Miles/ rob Nas' front teeth to give him a chip tooth smile").
Directed by Mr. Complex (director of "Rent"), this lyrical horror flick showcases a sexy B-girl Elvira, Crazy Legs (of Rocksteady Crew legend), jewish rap sensation Kosha Dillz (as Igor), true-to-life internal organs, a head in a jar, and a twist ending. Not since the 80's has hip-hop been this fun!
