Kanye West keeps pretty busy, but solo tracks from him have been more or less nonexistent since My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy dropped two years ago. Cruel Summer's "Cold" comes to mind, and it's a blast, but feels kinda tossed off. Now Yeezy's really back with "White Dress," a lovingly crafted, all-out production joining "Devil in a New Dress" to boost his "awesome songs with 'dress' in the title" count to two. This one comes to us via a music video that's like a Facebook photo album's idea of a documentary, although we can imagine Kanye touring all these spots alongside Kim Kardashian.
Produced by Kanye, RZA, and Boogz and Tapez, the track comes from the soundtrack for the upcoming RZA-directed The Man With the Iron Fists, the same album we premiered RZA and the Black Keys' "Baddest Man Alive" from this week. We're now officially back to wondering when Kanye will drop another whole album peppered with rap-stuffed, chorus-light jams like this...
