The singer-songwriter tells Alexa Chung it was a half-lip smooch!
Jason Mraz sat down with Fuse's Alexa Chung backstage at Z100's Jingle Ball Friday night to reminisce about his first time performing at the annual holiday concert eight years ago, recalling a special gift Jennifer Lopez gave him onstage.
"Jingle Ball is where I was kissed by J.Lo!," the singer-songwriter says, adding that the Harlem-bred pop star introduced him to the packed arena. "I was just beginning my career then with my first album," he said. Mistletoe anybody?
In the clip above Mraz also jokes around about his upcoming concert at Madison Square Garden, set for Monday, December 10. "I'm easing into it," he says of performing at the legendary venue (don't forget to stream the show on Fuse!).
Mraz also chats about hand-picking the "awesome" Fitz and The Tantrums to open up for him, and how he regrets his casual encounter with President Obama last week at the National Christmas Tree Lighting: "I called him Barack!"
