 / February 13, 2013

In the latest episode of The Mixdown, Fuse's Esteban Serrano sat down with A$AP Rocky affiliate A$AP Ferg to discuss his Trap Lord mixtape and appealing to everyone from hardcore rap fans to dirty hippies.

"At first, you had the whole hipster crowd really pumping my record 'Work,'" the recently-signed A$AP Mob rapper says. "Now I got hood dudes coming up who are saying, 'Yo, I'm feeling this.' Before it was a bunch of dirty-van Beach Boys types bumping the record and mosh-pitting to the song—now we got a bunch of True Religion, Timberland-wearing dudes saying, '"Work" is my shiznill.'"

Aside from talking about his socially diverse fanbase, Ferg also explains what he did when A$AP Rocky sent him a beat he didn't like and what it means to be a Trap Lord. For the full story on his mixtape, watch the latest Mixdown above.
