Stylist-Designer Urbana Chappa On Taylor Swift, Rihanna & Rita Ora's Fashion Choices

With New York Fashion Week fast approaching, Fuse sat down with stylist-turned-designer Urbana Chappa to get her take on her burqa-inspired line and what she thinks about the outfits worn by the biggest names in music.

"I love Taylor Swift's style; she's always on point," Chappa raves. "Rihanna has great style, too, and takes major risks." But there's one singer in particular Chappa wants to get her hands on: UK R&B singer Rita Ora.

"I love Rita Ora, but she makes a lot of bad choices. They're trying to make her look [like she's in her forties]. She's all over the place," Chappa chides. But hope is not lost: "I'd love to work with her to find a different identity for her."

Chappa also tells us about getting inspiration from the Middle Eastern burqa for her Fashion Week line. "We don't have to show everything and we can tell a story though our eyes," Chappa tells Fuse about her restrained designs. "You can still be sultry, seductive, powerful and mysterious."
