Washed Out Drop Blissed-Out New LP Track "It All Feels Right"
Ernest Greene, the electronic/chillwave whiz behind Washed Out, recently signed with Sub Pop to drop his second album, Paracosm, in the U.S. on August 13. This was a good choice on the Seattle label's behalf—just listen to the first LP track, "It All Feels Right," in the lyric video above.
It's a gorgeous, escapist slice of electro bliss, right? Sounds like a seller to me, and that video is full of kaleidoscopic, slow-motion-spinning flowers and palm trees: "It's getting warmer outside," Greene sings over deep-space synths. "It all feels right." You're damn right, it does. Is this the summer anthem we've been waiting for?
And get this: Paracosm features 50 different instruments, plus samples, and it was produced by Ben Allen, aka the guy behind many other layered, psychedelic-swirl albums from Animal Collective, Deerhunter and Youth Lagoon.
Greene and Sub Pop also unveiled the LP's tracklist and details for an upcoming U.S. tour. Check out the dates here, then watch the album trailer below.
