UK Rockers The 1975 Cover One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful"
Genre-blending Manchester quartet The 1975 are drumming up tons of hype with their recent singles, like "Sex" and "Chocolate," and their upcoming self-titled debut album, out stateside September 10. The band recently dropped by BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge to cover "What Makes You Beautiful" by fellow Brits One Direction. The boy band's original version is an upbeat, fun pop super-hit, but in the hands of The 1975, it's a heart-wrenching piano ballad with sweeping guitar and yearning vocals from frontman Matt Healy. Watch above.
