It's hard to believe only two people are creating the sounds for "Unkinder (A Tougher Love)," the lead single from UK synth-pop duo Thumpers. Comprised of Marcus Pepperell (vocals, guitar, keys) and John Hamson Jr. (drums, vocals, bass), the group create smart, layered pop that split the difference between catchy and intelligent.
Thumpers will release their debut album in North America via Sub Pop in 2014. But for now, get an opening taste with the track above. Then hit Repeat.
