Eminem, Bruno Mars, U2 & More: NFL Stars Talk Game Day Pump-Up Music

From Bruno MarsPepsi Super Bowl XLVIII Halftime Show to Fuse Music Week: Super Bowl Blvd, this year's Super Bowl is as much of a pinnacle event for music as it is football. But whether it's the Super Bowl or any regular season game, Green Bay Packers linebacker A.J. Hawk tells Fuse that "there's always music going." We sat down with him and other top NFL players to find out what artists and tracks pump the players up on game days.

Retired NFL tight end Ben Utecht says, "There's a number of songs you kind of have to listen to before going out there to play a game. One of them is 'Beautiful Day' by U2—an iconic song, puts things in perspective, gets you excited about the game."

"It's very intense," adds retired wide receiver Torry Holt. "Some guys have their individual headphones on, rocking out, getting themselves ready. Music has always played an important role in my football career."

Watch above for more music suggestions from everyone from Jordan Palmer to Bryan Scott. Artists include hip hop's finest (Jay Z, Eminem, DMX), high-voltage rockers (Pantera, the Killers, Journey), pop singer-songwriters (Bruno Mars), bluesy rock stars (Dave Matthews Band, Stevie Ray Vaughan) and more.
