Martin Garrix Is Already Tired of His Breakout Hit "Animals"

Ultra Music Festival officially kicks off tonight, but the party has been going all week. Dutch producer Martin Garrix sits down with Fuse News host Liz Walaszczyk to discuss his impressive resume at the age of 17.

He shares a manager with Justin Bieber, he’s collaborating with Ed Sheeran on the pop singer’s first House record, his 2013 hit “Animals” has almost 200 million plays on YouTube… and he has yet to graduate high school.

Such is the life of Martin Garrix. The 17-year-old producer is playing Ultra for the first time ever this year, and he couldn’t be more excited.

Following such a massive hit like “Animals” is a challenge, but Garrix knows that Ultra is a great place to debut new music. “It’s the center of the music industry right now. Everybody is in Miami right now," Garrix tells Fuse News. "And of course you have the live stream. It’s perfect timing. A lot of people only know the track 'Animals' and I’ve already heard it a million, billion times. I’m tired of it! I can’t wait until the people hear the other stuff."
