Girl, Down: Big Freedia and Her Favorite Divas Link Up

A fabulous diva should be surrounded by other fabulous divas, so it's no surprise that Big Freedia ultimately crossed paths with some of music's fiercest ladies.

Recalling the night when she first met Beyoncé, the New Orleans native gushes about finally coming face-to-face with Mrs. Carter at Tina Knowles' 60th birthday bash.

"That was the most amazing moment of my life," Freedia remembers. "She's such a wonderful, loving and humble person. I didn't know how she was going to be when I first met her, and she was such a doll and a sweetheart."

And after hearing from Bey herself that she's part of the Freedia movement, the bounce diva basically "dropped dead right then and there."

Freedia also sheds light on how she linked up with Solange and credits "Peanut Butter" collab partner RuPaul with keeping her inspired. Check out the exclusive interview, and tune in for the Season 2 premiere of Big Freedia: Queen of Bounce Wednesday, June 11 at 11/10c on Fuse! Find Fuse in your area.
