FUSE TV - Miguel's "Simplethings" Video Features Dogs, Cody Simpson's Ex

Three months after Miguel debuted his sultry make-out jam "Simplethings" on the new soundtrack to Lena Dunham's Girls, the R&B ballad has an arty black & white clip to accompany it. 

The "Simplethings" video stars Miguel, a husky running down the streets of Los Angeles and model Gigi Hadid (the exact opposite of husky) pouting around Hollywood. You might remember Hadid as Cody Simpson's ex—the two broke up last month, but apparently she's not done with the music world just yet. 

Hadid's presence in the video is kinda ironic. The song features Miguel singing, "I don’t need a model / I don’t need a debutante," and those are pretty much the first two words you'd use to describe Gigi Hadid: She's a professional model and the daughter of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster.
