Watch Paramore Dedicate "Last Hope" To Robin Williams
Paramore are known for their energetic live show, but they decided to slow things down at a recent Denver concert in order to honor Robin Williams.
The band dedicated "Last Hope" to the late comedian, with frontwoman Hayley Williams launching into a passionate speech. She began by recalling the first time Paramore played in the Colorado capital, running out of breath during their performance of "Whoa" and laying on the stage for the rest of the track. The singer is no stranger to the rollercoaster that is life, and made sure to express the sentiment to her audience.
"There was a point right before we released the new record, actually when we were writing it, that this song sort of spilled out of us," she said. "I realized how sad we had been. We had been in this place where we weren't content or fulfilled anymore."
