Discover Pink's Prairie Girl Side in You+Me's "Break the Cycle" Video

Looking like a hipster take on 'Little House on the Prairie,' the new Americana duo sing and frolic in the countryside

Earlier this month, we heard a new side of Pink via the debut single from You+Me, her folky duo project with City & Colour's Dallas Green. Now, we get to see her latest transformation via You+Me's new video for "Break the Cycle."

A gorgeous, somewhat-haunting Americana track, "Break the Cycle" emphasizes Pink and Green's incredible harmonies over subtle guitar strumming and stirring strings. The video appears to be filmed in the countryside showing the singers parading and singing around the prairie. Filmed with an old-school grainy filter, "Break the Cycle" enhances the country vibe with You+Me's hip Little House on the Prairie-esque looks (don't miss Pink's French-braid bun!) and choice instrumentation (banjo and cellos, anyone?).

We have just under a month until You+Me's debut album Rose Ave drops on October 14. Following the unveiling of lead single "You+Me" along with "Break the Cycle," it's becoming inherently clear why it was such an excellent idea for Pink and Green to team up for a full LP.

And let's be honest, Pink going folk is a much smoother transition than some other musical partnerships
