Enter Gwen Stefani's Psychedelic, CGI World in Her "Baby Don't Lie" Video

The trippy visual was helmed by No Doubt's go-to director Sophie Muller, responsible for "Don't Speak," "Underneath It All" and more

If her dancehall-ready banger of a single wasn't bold enough for ya, Gwen Stefani has an eye-poppin' new music video to accompany it. And it very well might have just outdone Pharrell's "It Girl" for most psychedelic vid of the year.

The visual opens with Gwen serving us old Hollywood glamour as The Voice star glows in a portrait studio. Soon a literal tornado of animated effects swirl in and the No Doubt diva is brought into a CGI world where every step the singer takes creates a new visual effect, from the sky changing hues to Gwen doubling and tripling herself.

While not wacky and sassy like past Stefani visuals like "Wind It Up" or "Hollaback Girl," this new video oozes sophistication while still adding Gwen's signature quirky side with its crazy computer effects. Longtime No Doubt/Gwen video director Sophie Muller ("Don't Speak," "Push and Shove," "Cool") helmed the video.

Overall, it makes us even more excited for what's to come from Gwen with her new album that's set to feature Pharrell and Diplo productions.
