Watch LL Cool J Hilariously Recount Being Arrested for Humping a Couch

"I got caught up in the frenzy and just went at that couch," the classic rapper explains, recalling his bizarre, furnitire-related run-in with the law

Time and time again, famous musicians are given the hard lesson that they are not above the law. But LL Cool J revealed a hilarious, bizarre story about the time a small Georgia town decided that his onstage pelvic thrusts were punishable by law.

On Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the classic rapper told the late-night host about a controversial concert. "Basically, I got arrested for humping a couch," he said. "I was singing a song I made called 'I Need Love' and I was on the couch. I actually wasn't simulating sex with a couch, I was simulating making love to a girl; An invisible girl on the couch. And, uh, they just felt like they didn't need a black man humping a couch in Georgia."

Kimmel joked, "Was it a white couch?" causing LL to crack up and further explain the bizarre arrest.

"I wasn't shocked because they told me before, 'Listen, we know about the show, heard it, we're proud of ya. But if you go out there and you hump the couch, we're going to have to take you in,'" he said, before adding, "I got caught up in the frenzy and just went at that couch...I had a ball!"

And even though LL was booked and brought into the station, he made bail and the couch crime been expunged...at least, he's pretty sure it's been wiped from the record. Watch the hilarious clip above.
