Why Bea Miller Loves Miley Cyrus and 5 Seconds Of Summer

With the release of her Young Blood EP in 2014, Bea Miller was launched onto the pop scene in a big way–in support of the EP, she toured with Demi Lovato. Only bigger things lay ahead in 2015 for Miller, who stops by Fuse's Top 20 Countdown this week!

Check out a couple clips from her guest appearance on the show above and below, and be sure to check out a new episode of Top 20 Countdown tomorrow, January 6, at 9/8c.

"The people that I look up to musically just made music that they liked," Miller explains, when asked about what she draws inspiration from. "And so I realized, if I like my songs, who cares what they sound like? I'm more inspired by the people themselves than they music that they've created."

Miller's appreciation for Miley Cyrus has been well documented, but calling Cyrus a "role model" may not be fully accurate.

"I know a lot of people think Miley Cyrus is crazy and out of her mind and really inappropriate, and I don't look up to her in a way where I want to be her and do the things that she's doing, necessary," Miller clarifies. "I just think it's so cool that she honestly has no regard for anyone's opinion, and she knows that people are going to judge her for the things she's doing, and she really honestly doesn't care."

Watch the interviews above and below to learn why Miller is also a huge 5 Seconds Of Summer fan and more! And be sure to catch Top 20 Countdown tomorrow at 9/8c. Find Fuse in your area.
