Watch Slipknot & Korn's Beastie Boys Cover (Plus: New Tour Dates!)
Update: Slipknot can't stop/won't stop touring! They've been out on the road with the one and only Korn (and teaming up for a cover of the Beastie Boys' "Sabotage"—watch it above, read about it below), and they just announced a spring tour with Hatebreed. But Slipknot's not done: They're going on the road all summer with Lamb of God, Shadows Fall, and Bullet for My Valentine folks. The run starts July 24 in West Palm Beach, Florida and wraps on September 5 in Dallas, Texas. Read all the dates here.
Original Story: Last year Slipknot released their fifth studio album, .5: The Gray Chapter, their first recorded material since 2008's All Hope Is Gone. Their absence was justified: In 2010, bassist Paul Gray passed away after an accidental morphine overdose. Then, in 2013 drummer Joey Jordison left the band, citing "personal reasons"; later he promised a new record, one that still hasn't turned up.
Slipknot's long-awaited release was met with open arms and a joint tour with Korn—a nu-metal fan's dream! On the road this month, the bands decided to tackle the Beastie Boys' 1994 hit "Sabotage."
