George Ezra Talks BRIT Noms, Shooting Music Video with Sir Ian McKellan

The breakout singer-songwriter tells us why Sir Ian McKellan sings more of his single "Listen To The Man" in the track's music video than he does

George Ezra had the type of year in 2014 that many artists hope to one day experience, as the British singer/songwriter made huge waves with the folksy, bluesy pop-rock of his debut album Wanted On Voyage

Ezra stops by Fuse's Top 20 Countdown tonight to discuss the success of the album and his four BRIT Awards nominations. Watch clips of his guest appearance on the show above and below, and tune in at 9/8c for more!

"It's flattering enough just being nominated," Ezra says of his BRIT nominations. He's in the running for British Breakthrough Act, British Male Solo Artist, British Album and British Single. "That's a success and a victory to me. ... Of course it would be lovely to win, but I think it's more about just appreciating good music, and to be part of that is awesome."

While his single "Budapest" garnering the nom for the British Single award, Ezra tells us excitedly about the conception of his music video for "Listen To The Man," which was released in October and features famed British actor Sir Ian McKellan. The fun video features McKellan trying to steal the spotlight from Ezra on the set of the video–watch the interview with Ezra below to find out why McKellan just wouldn't get off the camera!
