Drake, the Strokes & Alt-J to Headline First-Ever Landmark Music Festival

Founders of Lollapalooza announce new Washington, D.C. festival with an eye toward sustainability

The founders of Lollapalooza continue to diversify their burgeoning business in 2015 with the announcement of the first ever Landmark Music Festival at West Potomac Park in Washington, D.C. this Fall.

More than 40 artists on five stages are already slated for the two-day rendezvous, including Drake, the Strokes, Alt-J, George Ezra, Twin Shadow, the Lone Bellow, Houndmouth, the Joy Formidable, the Mowgli’s, Rhiannon Giddens, boots and a ton more.

If that wasn't exciting enough in and of itself, Landmark Festival will be the first event in a series that will support the Landmark Campaign for the National Mall, raising awareness and fundraising to repair the National Mall. Over the last 40 years the historical destination has suffered from a lack of updates and maintenance, a need that organizers C3 are proud to fill.
