Morrissey's "Kiss Me A Lot" Video Features Half-Naked Lingerie Models

It looks like the Pope of Mope might have been inspired by "Blurred Lines"

On the heels of his recent U.S. tour announcement, Morrissey just released the official music video for “Kiss Me a Lot,” the latest single from 2014’s World Peace Is None of Your Business.

Directed by fashion photographer Sam Esty Rayner, the clip features Moz and his band performing the track at a soundcheck with interwoven scenes of female models in lingerie with different messages scribbled on their bodies with lipstick. While it’s no “Blurred Lines,” it’s still a different look for Morrissey, whose past videos have been devoid of anything remotely T&A–friendly.

The video is a welcome change from the Pope of Mope as he’s had a rocky run as of late. His previous two North American tours have been marred by cancellations due to illness. This past October, The Smiths icon revealed that he had undergone a series of cancer-related treatments.

On the business side of things, Morrissey had a fallout with his label, Harvest Records, just weeks after the release of World Peace Is None of Your Business back in August. The singer and the label have parted ways since.

Morrissey’s U.S. tour kicks off on June 11 in New Orleans.
