Aaron Bruno Of AWOLNATION: "We Don't Know Where We Fit In"

Red Bull Records struck their first ream of gold when they signed AWOLNATION in 2010. The band's debut album for the label, the RIAA Gold-certified Megalithic Symphony, featured the single "Sail" which peaked at #17 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, putting the soda company's record label on the map for the first time, and rightfully placing leaders of the Green Label Sound project in the hot seat.

In the years since, the band has grown quite familiar with the festival circuit having made the rounds to SXSW, Lollapalooza, and a slew of others, but 2015's Bonnaroo was a first for the Aaron and company. Aaron said of the festival and AWOLNATION's place in the lineup, "Everybody seems really comfortable with and open to all different genres of music, which is great for us because we are kind of genre-less. We don't even even know where we fit in, so we fit right in here."
