Hilary Duff Talks 'Younger' Role and Moving on from Her Past on 'Got Ur #'
Despite being only 27 years old, Hilary Duff is all too familiar with superstardom—starring as Disney Channel's beloved Lizzie McGuire, selling over 15 million records worldwide, and then returning with gems like "Chasing the Sun" and "Sparks." The singer-actress, currently lighting up screens as Kelsey Peters on Younger, discusses the popular dramedy series and how she compares to her character.
"I think Kelsey is a lot like me, where she's driven and has a very strong opinion of what she wants her work destiny to be. She works really hard, and she's a bit of an animal. She parties hard, and she works hard—and I think that's really relatable to girls in their twenties," Duff explains.
Duff also reveals that she doesn't waste time dwelling on the past, a part of her that she can only learn from.
"I definitely don't lose sleep over things that have happened or that I've done in the past. I think having a child has helped me take things slower and try to soak things in more and not blow past things," she says.
