Hear A Previously Unreleased Kurt Cobain Track from 'Montage of Heck'

The demo appears during the end credits of the flick

Montage of Heck is just the gift that keeps on giving, huh? Last week we reported that a Kurt Cobain solo album is on the way to coincide with the physical release of the flick. Today, we're given a taste of that new material with a previously unreleased, untitled Cobain original.

The track airs during the end credits of the film. It's a bit more out there than your standard Nirvana jam, so buckle up!

Cobain's love of indie punk-leaning acts like the Melvins and the Pixies is well-documented; could this be him exploring those interests in a very concrete way? When his voice raises to a shriek, it feels like it comes from some of his more obscure taste...bands like the Frogs.

Listen above, then read 12 things you might not know about the guy.
