Watch One Direction's "Drag Me Down" Video Right Now!

The out-of-this-world visual was helmed by the same director who worked on 1D's "Best Song Ever" and "Story of My Life" vids

Update (8/21): It's here! Louis Tomlinson has shared the space-tastic music video for One Direction's first post-Zayn Malik tune, "Drag Me Down." Watch it above!

Original Story (8/7): One Direction are one step closer to taking over the universe. The quintet-turned-quartet have reportedly filmed the music video to their new single "Drag Me Down" at the NASA Space Center in Houston, Texas.

England's Daily Mail reports that the guys—Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan—convinced the bosses at the space HQ to use the airfields, training equipment and base to shoot the visual. Please say we'll get to watch them in the flight simulator.

The Daily Mail also reports the vid was directed by Ben Winston, who also worked on past 1D visuals like "Best Song Ever" and "Story of My Life."

There was already a huge amount of hype to see what One Direction's first post-Zayn Malik video would look like, but filming it at the Space Center just upped the anticipation tenfold. No doubt the vid will continue the success for what's already looking like a very successful single: Billboard recently revealed "Drag Me Down" is on course to have the biggest single debut of the year and could possibly go Top 5 on the charts.
