Taylor Swift Performs "Ronan" For Mom of Cancer Victim

The singer wrote the song in 2012 for Maya Thompson following the death of her son

Get those tissues ready, folks. At a recent gig in Glendale, Ariz., Taylor Swift made one mom feel super loved with a very special dedication.

The 1989 queen performed "Ronan," a song she wrote for Maya Thompson in 2012 following the death of her son, who the song is named after. Ronan passed away of neuroblastoma; Thompson kept a regularly updated blog of their journey; Swift read it religiously.

Thompson was in attendance at the Arizona show, and Taylor dedicated the song to her. Maya filmed the intro of the tune (watch it above) and if it doesn't make you cry, nothing will.
