Foo Fighters Rock Rush's "Tom Sawyer" with the Lead Singer of Yes

Unsurprisingly, they did it justice

Over the weekend, Dave Grohl sat upon his throne of rock, peered out over the commoners of Anaheim, California, and thought, "Yes, it is time for a Rush cover. With Yes."

At the show on Saturday, Grohl and the Foo Fighters were joined by Yes frontman Jon Davison, a friend of drummer Taylor Hawkins, for the band's oft-dispensed cover of "Tom Sawyer." Unsurprisingly, they rocked it.

Grohl remains incapacitated due to a broken leg suffered earlier this year, but he still managed to rock out atop his giant chair while adding one of three electric guitar parts. Davison handled lead vocals since he can hit those fine, fine Geddy Lee notes so well.

The Foos were in Anaheim as part of their current tour behind last year's Sonic Highways, running for another month in the U.S. before heading over to Europe through November.
