George Ezra Describes White House Tour, Appreciating Stateside Success

England's George Ezra has been on a roll since his 2014 full-length debut, Wanted on Voyage, leading to a gig at the first-ever Landmark Music Festival in Washington, D.C. over the weekend. "There is something huge about being able to bring [my music] across, over to the United States," Ezra told Fuse in a candid exclusive interview. "That's fantastic."

The 22-year-old singer-songwriter-strummer also explained what it was like, in a culture that moves on to the next thing at light speed, to see Wanted on Voyage shoot up the charts more than three months awhile after it dropped. "Something like 14 weeks after it was released, it went to No. 1," he said. "Which, when you've released something, is really nice, to know people are sharing it that far after release."
