Stevie Wonder Sings Along to His Hits in the Latest "Carpool Karaoke"
The Late Late Show with James Corden has built its reputation partially on the sturdy pillar that is "Carpool Karaoke." Monday night's guest was Stevie Wonder. It's as good as the Mariah Carey one and the time Iggy Azalea went for the magical rap ride, if not better. (Also: Recreating actors' entire careers in one-take montages; the Arnold Schwarzenegger one was particularly perfect.)
After a goofy intro, the 65-year-old Stevie—whose English accent is on point—dives straight in. The commute lasts a fabulous 11 minutes; watch it above.
Corden and Wonder, in addition to having killer chemistry, burn through "Superstition," "Sir Duke," "Isn't She Lovely," "Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours" and more without losing an iota of enthusiasm. And yeah, the god Stevie also busts out the harmonica.
