See Raven & Chelsea Reunite for 'That's So Raven' Theme, Let Nostalgia Flow
Here's a healthy dose of nostalgia for your morning, if Kenan and Kel doing a Good Burger reunion wasn't enough. Raven-Symone and Anneliese Van der Pol both broke out in 2003 starring as best friends Raven and Chelsea on the Disney Channel series That's So Raven. Every episode kicked off with a theme song sung by the costars. You totally remember it.
During a concert Van der Pol was holding at New York City's 54 Below, Raven herself popped in to sing the oh-so-2000s tune for an unsuspecting crowd. Watch above as the duo bust out the main theme, with Anneliese even handling the rap section—which every tween thought was totally dope back in '03—that was originally done by Orlando Brown, who played Raven and Chelsea's other best friend, Eddie.
What's awesome to see is that both ladies have kept their pipes more than intact, even though it's been more than seven years since Raven last released an album—a note not lost on her as she told the audience, "I haven't sang in front of people in a really long time" before making a self-jab about how "no one bought my albums."
The BFFs didn't stop there though. They also knocked out a cover Frank Sinatra's "That's Life" and Raven even crooned out "Happy Birthday" to Anneliese, who turned 31 the next day.
You crushed this momentous reunion, girls. Nice work.
