Watch Slipknot's Corey Taylor Voice an Alien on "Doctor Who"

The metal man gives his best roar for this frightening intergalactic being

Last month we told you Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor was going to voice an alien on one of his favorite shows, Doctor Who. Today, we get to see it in action.

In the video above, we see Taylor navigate the Doctor Who set before hitting the recording booth to do what he does best: scream. He tries out different tones and levels, the whole thing gets pretty intense pretty quickly.

Show producer Derek Ritchie told the BBC, "We needed an awesome roar for the Fisher King. We asked Corey if he might like to do the honors. He was completely up for it...He has one of the most well-known screams in the history of music. We now have the most incredible roar for our incredible monster! He now sounds as terrifying as he looks."

While we've got you, watch a cool clip below of Mr. Taylor totally geeking out at Comic-Con two years ago. He even buys a Doctor Who cape! Oh, and make sure to peep our gallery of the best dressed metal musicians of all time.
